One of the public parks most loved by the locals and visitors to the city of Milan, is Sempione Park – a large park that is rightly ranked in the list of the most popular parks in the city, which since it was opened to the general public (at the end of the 19th century) has gained a great reputation so that today it is full of smiling people from the early morning hours .
Among the most recommended and favorite activities for visitors to the park, you will find sports of all kinds, such as running, hiking and biking trails, various ball games, playgrounds, and much more… In addition, this is the place for a picnic in the great outdoors, and some of the most enjoyable attractions, such as the famous castle, are also within its scope Castello Sforzesco, the Triennale di Milano museum, lakes and quite a few chic pubs.
In terms of integrating the park as part of a larger itinerary, due to its relative proximity to the city center, it is recommended to combine it with the popular tourist centers located in this area, such as the Duomo and the surrounding attractions.
The opening hours of the park are every day between 6:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. Entry is of course free.
